Here are answers to the most frequently asked questions.
How much does a recording session cost ?
Sessions have a two-hour minimum at $160*.
What is the hourly rate ?
The hourly rate is $80*.
How much does it cost to record a song, EP, or full album ?
Project costs vary widely. Contact us to schedule an appointment and get an estimate.
Do you offer packages (recording + mixing + mastering) ?
Yes, flat-rate package pricing is available.

How many hours does it take to record a song ?
On average, it takes two hours to record vocals, plus the same amount of time for each additional instrument.
How long does a full album take ?
Completing an album generally takes several weeks or even months.
How far in advance should I book ?
We recommend booking about two weeks in advance.
Can we book evenings or weekends ?
Yes, we are open Wednesday to Friday evenings as well as weekends.
Is the sound engineer included in the price ?
Yes, an engineer will be on-site to handle your session.
What is the difference between mixing and mastering ?
Mixing involves balancing and processing each individual track (volume, panning, EQ, compression, effects, etc.) to build a cohesive, polished stereo mix.
Mastering takes place after mixing. Work is done strictly on the final stereo mix to refine it as a whole—optimizing overall volume, tonal balance, dynamics, album consistency, and preparing the tracks to meet distribution standard specs (streaming, CD, etc.).
What software do you use ?
We primary use Cubase Pro.
Is the studio fully soundproofed and acoustically treated ?
Yes, the studio is completely soundproofed and acoustically treated. It was custom-designed by an acoustician.
Can I record podcasts, voiceovers, or audiobooks ?
Yes, we can handle those types of recordings.
Can I bring my own computer or gear ?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your own equipment.
How should I prepare before coming to the studio ?
Rehearse your tracks thoroughly beforehand and know them inside out. Prepare your files (instrumentals, reference tracks) in WAV format. Make sure your gear is in working order and bring spares if needed. Get plenty of rest the night before (especially for vocals), and arrive on time.
Can I bring guests ?
Yes, you may bring one or two guests who are not participating in the project.
Do you accept all music genres ?
Yes, we work with all genres of music.
Should I bring pre-prepared tracks (stems, click track, arrangements) ?
Yes. For mixing sessions of projects recorded elsewhere, all tracks must be bounced as separate stems and properly labeled.
Home studio vs. professional studio: Do I really need a pro studio ?
Thanks to modern computers and gear, it is possible to do part or even all of the work at home. However, it is very difficult to achieve the same results as a professional studio outfitted with high-end equipment and backed by professional expertise.
Can mixing and mastering be done remotely ?
Yes, you can send us your tracks and we can work on your project remotely.
